Affiliate Programs

Before you can promote the niche, you should learn what the niche encompasses. Not all Vintage is created equal, and there's a fair amount of micro niches within. Here's my attempt at defraying any confusion about the great porn of ages past.

• Retro: This typically describes porn from the 60-80s.
• Vintage: B&W movies and photography is the mainstay of this niche. Much of the content found shows the roaring 20s in all of its glory.
• Classic Pornstar: Celebrating the lives, times, and sex lives of porn stars from decades ago. This spills over into both retro and vintage, although most classic pornstars are from the 70s and 80s.
• Magazine Archives: The dirty magazines haven't gone away. You can still find the stuff your grandfather jerked off to at certain sites. Rodox and Playboy are two larger ones in this classification.
• Pinup: These are the glamour, softcore girls of old. There isn't much, if any, sex shown here.
• Modern Retro/Vintage: These are fanciful recreations of retro and vintage porn styles. The majority of them emulate a pinup style.

There are also several microniches within vintage/retro that can be marketed to both vintage lovers and other niches. Here's a quick list of ideas to push vintage/retro with other common categories of porn.

• Hairy: There wasn't much shaven pussy going around in those days. Your hairy lovers will eat this up, even if vintage isn't on their regular diet.
• Natural: Silicone was just a funny word to them back then. All natural bodies and boobies work well, especially in the big natural tit area.
• Hardcore: There's an okay amount of hardcore vintage and a lot more hardcore retro to work with here.
• Pornstars: Teach your pornstar lovers a history lesson with some famous names from yesteryear.
• Stocking: Stockings, lingerie, and heels are found everywhere in vintage, and a bit less in retro.
• Mature: Some places try to pass off mature sites as vintage/retro. They aren't one and the same, but they can work well together.
• Gay: There were gay people back then, really!

This is another program that I would recommend not using. They run the Classic Pornos site, but they are very slow at answering emails and ICQ, have been no help at all as far as promotional material and access goes, and they have been down again and again and again. First I couldn't reach the affiliate site, then I couldn't reach the paysite, then I can reach the paysite but not the join page...needless to say a lot of traffic got wasted in this, which sucks becuase they were a decently converting sponsor. Even as I type, they are completely down once again, and I have heard nothing from them. AVOID THIS SPONSOR

Started off doing okay and having good communication with this sponsor. They have one of the oldest vintage sites, but as of late the communication has been atrocious. My payments were late and I had to send repeated emails to even get paid to begin with. They also failed to mention that one of their sites was put on another affiliate program. Despite several weeks of promises to be 'brought up to speed' on what's going on, I and a few other affiliates I have spoken with have not heard a thing. NOT RECOMMENDED.
